S1/Salon is a season of artist film and video programmes hosted in the project space at S1 Artspace, Seffield. The first season of S1/Salon featured work by fifty-four artists from the UK, France, Austria, Finland, Turkey, Russia, Bulgaria, Canada and the US, screening films in their original format; video, 16mm or Super 8.
tonight we are golden brings together fourteen films from the six programmes that made up the first season of S1/Salon for a series of screenings in venues ranging from experimental cinemas and artist-led spaces to national centres for contemporary art.
