MEMBERSHIP

OUTPOST operates a membership scheme which is open to anyone, anywhere.

We welcome all artists, writers, curators and creative practitioners. Membership costs £25 per year.

Members have the opportunity to apply for the annual members show and other bespoke opportunities.

Apply for the annual Members Show

OUTPOST holds a Members Show every year and invites a guest selector to curate the exhibition. Previous selectors have included Amartey Golding, The White Pube, Cerith Wyn Evans, Ryan Gander, Catalyst Arts and Peles Empire. 

Apply for the annual Open Film or Open Sound show.

Every year we invite a guest selector to curate the exhibition. Previous selectors have included Stuart Whipps, Paul Purgas, and Ed Atkins.

Alongside the opportunity to be published in OUTPOST mailouts, and being added to the OUTPOST Members Mailing List.

All OUTPOST members are entitled to submit details and documentation of their practice to the Members' Archive. The Members' Archive is used regularly by the OUTPOST Steering Committee, as well as independent curators and galleries, for various projects. The OUTPOST annual members’ show is selected directly from work submitted to the archive. Work will remain in the archive for the duration of paying membership. The members archive is updated on a monthly basis. We're a volunteer-run organisation so we're not always able to act as quickly as we'd like. Thank you in advance for your patience!

To add to your Members' Archive please email members@norwichoutpost.org with material attached in the following file formats:

Text and Images - .pdf presentation

Audio - .mp3 / .wav (maximum 5 minutes duration)

Video - .mov / .mp4 / .avi (maximum 5 minutes duration)

A current CV and a Statement of no more than 250 words are strongly encouraged. Please note that the maximum attachment size per email is 10mb.
