OUTPOST operates a membership scheme which is open to anyone, anywhere.

We welcome all artists, writers, curators, creative practitioners, and anyone who wants to support what we do. Membership costs £25 per year and includes access to several opportunities:

Members’ Show

Annual Members’ Shows selected by guest curators.

This year’s Members’ Show is curated by Market Gallery, open 4.7-26.7

Become a steward for one of our raised beds in our gallery courtyard. We invite groups to apply for this too.

Members’ Garden

Funded Studio Residencies

A 10-month funded residency for two selected OUTPOST Members, operating from St. Saviour’s Yard in Norwich.

Selected artists will receive curatorial support, professional documentation, marketing, and a £1000 materials and production budget each.

Concluding with a solo exhibition at OUTPOST Gallery for each artist to showcase new work developed over the course of the residency.

All OUTPOST members are entitled to submit details and documentation of their practice to the Members' Archive. The Members' Archive is used regularly by the OUTPOST Steering Committee, as well as independent curators and galleries, for various projects. The OUTPOST annual members’ show is selected directly from work submitted to the archive. Work will remain in the archive for the duration of paying membership. The members archive is updated on a monthly basis.

To add to your Members' Archive please email members@norwichoutpost.org with material attached in the following file formats:

Text and Images - .pdf presentation

Audio - .mp3 / .wav (maximum 5 minutes duration)

Video - .mov / .mp4 / .avi (maximum 5 minutes duration)

A current CV and a Statement of no more than 250 words are strongly encouraged. Please note that the maximum attachment size per email is 10mb.
