OUTPOST operates a membership scheme which is open to anyone, anywhere.

We welcome all artists, writers, curators and creative practitioners and anyone who wants to support what we do. Membership costs £25 per year and includes access to several opportunities:

Members’ Show

Apply for this year’s Members’ Show in July, curated by Market Gallery.

Become a steward for one of our raised beds in our gallery courtyard. We invite groups to apply for this too.

Members’ Garden

Funded Studio Residencies

Apply for our upcoming funded residencies starting July 2026. Selected artists will be provided with a dedicated studio space in Norwich for five months to develop a project to present as a solo exhibition at OUTPOST Gallery.

Art Writing Commissions

Paid opportunities for writers to respond to our programming.

All OUTPOST members are entitled to submit details and documentation of their practice to the Members' Archive. The Members' Archive is used regularly by the OUTPOST Steering Committee, as well as independent curators and galleries, for various projects. The OUTPOST annual members’ show is selected directly from work submitted to the archive. Work will remain in the archive for the duration of paying membership. The members archive is updated on a monthly basis.

To add to your Members' Archive please email members@norwichoutpost.org with material attached in the following file formats:

Text and Images - .pdf presentation

Audio - .mp3 / .wav (maximum 5 minutes duration)

Video - .mov / .mp4 / .avi (maximum 5 minutes duration)

A current CV and a Statement of no more than 250 words are strongly encouraged. Please note that the maximum attachment size per email is 10mb.
