#182 Cloud or Tail

Ulijona Odišarija and Ona Juciūtė

25 Apr- 24 May 2026 Thu-Sun 12-6pm or by appointment

Cloud Or Tail reimagines the sensorial concept of sillage - the lingering trail of scent - and attempts to offer it an afterlife. Using collage, photography and sculpture the artists explore themes of wear, touch, trade, craft and imitation. The works hover between documentation and interpretation looking at how memory clings to surfaces and capturing the residue of personal desires and histories that continue to trail behind their subjects.

The show is accompanied by a text by Cassandre Greenberg.

The project is partially financed by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and Lithuanian Culture Institute.

Based between London and Vilnius, Ulijona Odišarija’s practice spans across sculpture, video, photography, text and acts of collecting. She also makes music with her band Steve & Samantha and organises community clothes swaps called Outfitting. Her work has been presented at E.A. Shared Space in Tbilisi, Georgia; Vilnius Graphic Art Centre, Montos Tattoo, Contemporary Art Centre and National Art Gallery in Vilnius, Lithuania; Morra Greco Foundation in Naples, Italy; Toronto International Film Festival in Canada; Close Up Cinema, SET and Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, United Kingdom; PAKT and LIMA Foundation in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Showroom in New York, US, and online on flatness.eu, history-joy.cc and aqnb.com
