Pallavi Devkota is a UK based artist studying BA Fine Art, specialising in printmaking. Her work tests the concept of boundaries within collage as an uncertain space where transformation is possible through interventions from processes such as printmaking.

Roman and medieval cartographers would fill the unexplored edges of the map, or the Terra Incognita, with illustrations of mythical hybrid monsters who terrorised and engulfed travellers.
During my residency at Outpost, I have been exploring the concept of boundaries and temporal thresholds. Traumatic excesses of the past persist and haunt the present. These spectres from the past are not static but mutable signs, responsive to the present moment, always shape-shifting.

Featuring work by Susanne Hof and Tara Burdett.
